Partnership Highlights How Vendor Management Technology from Peopleclick Can Help Organizations Optimize Supply Chain Diversity Spending

Peopleclick, leader in enterprise workforce management technology, has announced a partnership with Management Decisions, Inc. (MDI), a leading woman-owned information technology staffing provider. MDI has selected Peopleclick to help its customers enhance communication, improve productivity and drive corporate diversity spending through Peopleclick''s market-leading Vendor Management Solution (VMS).

MDI, which provides a full range of contract, contract-to-hire and direct-hire IT placement services to Fortune 1000 clients, has a long track record of building and managing successful vendor relationships. This history of success led MDI to identify tools from Peopleclick to automate the vendor management process. With Peopleclick, MDI can offer its customers a Web-based solution to source, engage, track and manage their contingent workforce. Peopleclick will also help MDI''s customers easily and efficiently manage what has now become a diverse, multi-vendor staffing supply chain. Through Peopleclick''s vendor management technology, MDI''s customers can optimize their staffing procurement process to meet diversity spending.

Procurement officers have correctly set goals to target spend to minority, disabled veterans and women owned business enterprises. However, in most cases these organizations are small and the administrative cost to support these endeavors are large, said Ella Koscik, chief executive officer with MDI. Peopleclick''s VMS is an affordable, efficient means for our customers to build diverse project teams in a compliant fashion while increasing their supply chain diversity spending.

Peopleclick helps companies build a productive and diverse workforce. Recently the company purchased Minneapolis-based itiliti to extend its solution to include tools for the acquisition and post acquisition management of contingent staff. Peopleclick serves over 1,600 customers in 15 countries around the world with solutions for recruitment management, vendor management, employee management and Affirmative Action/EEO compliance.

With partnerships like MDI, Peopleclick can now offer electronic access to a vast network of minority, woman and veteran owned businesses for labor supply, said Jim Grundner, senior vice president of product management and marketing for Peopleclick. Not only does this reduce the administrative burden associated with dealing with many small suppliers but also helps drive overall corporate diversity through Peopeclick''s integrated approach to workforce management that addresses both permanent and contingent labor.
