Ford and Federated Department Stores team with Monster for diversity recruitment solutions

Monster(R) today announced recruitment agreements with Ford Motor Company and Federated Department Stores

Monster(R)has announced recruitment agreements with Ford Motor Company and Federated Department Stores, Inc. As part of these extensive recruiting relationships, the companies will be able to target, reach and access a diverse pool of qualified candidates on Monster''s Diversity and Inclusion community.

Last week, Monster announced the launch of the Diversity and Inclusion community, which is part of an exclusive online career partnership relationship with the National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People (NAACP), the nation''s oldest and largest civil rights organization. Monster Diversity and Inclusion is a new community that connects diverse job seekers with employers who are looking to recruit a more diverse workforce.

Since 1914, when Henry Ford paid all workers $5 a day regardless of ethnic background, Ford Motor Company has embraced diversity as good business sense. When your employees have equal opportunity, they''re motivated to do their best work! said Barbara Bowen, Manager, North America Recruiting External Relations, Ford Motor Company.

By teaming up with Monster to increase the reach of Federated''s branded recruiting portal (http://www.retailology.com/) we are building a more diverse talent pool of qualified applicants for the hundreds of open positions we are seeking to fill at any given time. Monster''s Diversity and Inclusion community will help to ensure the excellent career opportunities offered by Federated are exposed to a broad and inclusive audience. This is how our stores and operations appropriately reflect the diverse marketplace of shoppers we serve.

Diverse job seekers will gain tremendous opportunities by having access to quality job offerings from two of the nation''s leading companies in their industries. We are excited to work with these companies and further expand the offerings of the Diversity and Inclusion community, said Steve Pogorzelski, president of Monster, North America.
