Kent Police Appoints Penna Recruitment Communications

Kent Police has appointed Penna Recruitment Communications (PRC) as its new recruitment marketing agency

Kent Police, one of the largest police forces in the country, has appointed Penna Recruitment Communications (PRC) as its new recruitment marketing agency.

This is the latest is a series of contracts that Penna has won to work with British police forces on a range of projects across the spectrum of its human capital management services. The agency will be working with Kent Police to attract the very best candidates for Police Officer, Community Support Officer and civilian roles.

According to Jeanette Abel, the police forceís recruitment and selection manager, there are a number of changes and challenges that lie ahead and it was vital to find the right agency partner. ìWe need to recruit over 270 Police Community Support Officers by the end of April to meet the Home Office target and we have an ongoing programme of police officer recruitmentî says Abel. ìItís also vital to attract the right quality of staff for civilian posts, which can get overshadowed by front-line recruitmentî, she adds.

One of the key factors that set PRC apart in the search for a recruitment marketing agency was its commitment to working in partnership with Kent Police to drive the business forward. ìPRC are a different sort of agency,î says Jeanette Abel. ìThey have a passion for what they do, and they are fresh and flexible in their thinking.î
