Meridian Business Support appoints Andrew Pettingill to grow Industrial, Driving and Onsite Division

Meridian Business Support has appointed Andrew Pettingill as managing director of the Industrial, Driving and Onsite division as part of its business growth strategy.

Andrew brings with him more than 25 years’ experience in recruitment, both as a client and a supplier, most recently as managing director of a successful staffing solutions business for more than nine years. Responsible for shaping and driving its performance improvement and market position, Andrew also successfully delivered the brand’s strategic plan.

Prior to that, while operations director at a specialist recruitment firm, he led a brand refresh and consolidation which resulted in renewed profitability. Andrew’s board-level experience began 11 years ago at a general recruitment agency, where he increased productivity, morale and well-being by using a field-based team to foster a culture of “engaging leadership” in the branch network.

A member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Andrew holds a postgraduate professional qualification in HR.
