Norrie Johnston Recruitment (NJR), the specialist in global executive search and interim management, has announced two new major appointments to further boost its technology division.
Mark Gillham is joining as a Recruitment Director and will focus on technology and business transformation. He has over 20 years of experience in senior level permanent and interim recruitment, working with some of the biggest firms in the recruitment field, establishing and running their IT divisions. During this time Mark also set up and ran his own successful recruitment business for over 10 years.
NJR has also appointed Richard Rogerson as an Associate. Richard has over 20 years experience in the management consultancy and IT industries most recently with Hitachi Solutions. As a consultant he has delivered on multi-million pound IT-based, business change projects and worked with organisations such as GAME, ITE, Rapidrop, BSkyB, Xennia, BBC and Pearson.
Graham Oates, Chief Executive of Norrie Johnston Recruitment, comments:"CIOs are very focused on recruitment at the moment. They can’t afford to have skills shortages hold their companies back. Big data and of course security are just two of the topics high on their agendas.
“We’re assembling a team which absolutely understands these pressures. True to our philosophy we’re offering clients recruitment consultants who have not simply worked in recruitment but have worked within companies in senior IT roles. So they absolutely understand the pressures, the issues, the skills and of course the speed of response CIO’s are looking for.”
Norrie Johnston Recruitment is focused on filling senior permanent and interim executive roles, using a mix of technology plus, importantly, traditional search, employing best of breed recruiters who have real-world business experience. It argues that this combination of technology-enabled, top recruiters together with senior executive experience means the agency can provide hand-picked short lists of perfectly matched senior interim candidates within 4 days while for permanent roles the timeframe from brief to short list can be as little as 21 days.
