The recruitment software provider has added an Intelligence Model and refreshed its platform, aiming to give temp agencies clearer oversight of shifts, costs and margins.

Panther has launched an Intelligence Model designed to give temporary recruitment agencies real-time visibility of performance and gross profit, alongside a wider refresh of its staffing platform.

The update, announced on 1 October, includes streamlined self-service settings, a redesigned user experience and a new website. Panther says the settings overhaul simplifies around 2,000 configurable options.

A clearer view of agency performance

The platform brings sourcing, compliance, scheduling, timesheets and pay into one system for temporary and shift-based recruitment. Its target users include agencies supplying healthcare, education and hospitality employers.

Panther says its client base has doubled in recent months, although it did not provide the starting number or a precise comparison period. It reports that the platform holds more than 300,000 candidate records and 1.7 million compliance documents across more than 53,000 locations. These are company-reported operating figures, not independently audited market data.

“This is one of the hardest temp markets I have seen, and agencies are being asked to do more with less.”

Ashling Coyle, CEO and founder of Panther

Why it matters for temporary recruiters

For agencies managing high volumes of shifts, timely information on costs and gross profit can inform decisions before bookings are finalised. The practical test for any platform is whether its records, workflows and reporting fit the agency’s own operating model.

Panther positions the new tools as a way to improve oversight and margins. The announcement does not provide an independent evaluation of margin improvements from the new Intelligence Model.

Key takeaways

  • The new Intelligence Model focuses on real-time performance and gross profit.
  • The platform refresh also simplifies settings and the user experience.
  • Agencies should assess reporting and workflow fit against their own requirements.
