CareerLingual, a pioneering new website for multilingual professionals, is launched today. CareerLingual is part of the CC Consulting family, which for the past 10 years has operated Japan’s most successful bilingual recruitment job board, CareerCross.
The new site combines traditional job board advertising with social networking and targeted aggregation, aiming to set a new standard in global language recruitment. Furthermore, for the first 3 months, the site will be free for recruiters with ongoing bilingual vacancies.
Sam Earp, MD for CareerLingual, comments; “Every aspect of the new website is designed to set a new standard in multilingual candidate sourcing. The initial launch may be labeled a ‘Beta’, however from the outset CareerLingual offers a strong and unique recruitment tool.
“In addition, the exciting and innovative updates planned over the next few months will further strengthen its appeal to multilingual recruiters and candidates alike. Its incredibly exciting to be part of a project endowed with such a forward thinking technological team”
The CareerLingual website has been created with over a decade of bilingual recruitment knowledge; its fully multilingual interface allowing both candidate and recruiter to browse the site and post jobs in their native languages, a feature which Richard Bysouth, CEO of the group, positions as paramount:
“It was apparent from our experience with CareerCross” remarks BySouth, who founded the Japanese site over a decade ago after setting up Robert Walters’ Japanese enterprise, “that whilst our target candidates may be bilingual, having a job board that interacts via the users’ native language significantly improves site visitations, application numbers and ultimately performance.”
Earp expands further on CareerLingual’s unique offering; “To carve out a place in the market, any new career site has to be more than just a job board. Candidates want a sophisticated and intuitive interface that is conducive with the social media paradigm; and this is exactly how the website has been designed.
“I like to think of CareerLingual as an ‘opportunity community’ for multilingual professionals; a portal where they can upload profile photos, share jobs, seek career advice - and of course register their CVs and apply for jobs!
“Recruiters on the other hand” he concludes “demand a time and cost effective recruitment solution; effective in attracting both active and passive candidates. By linking up with aggregators such as Jobg8, social networking sites and additional, multilingual candidate sourcing initiatives, CareerLingual is positioned to do exactly that.”
