Founded by three entrepreneurial students, Gradlancer is the UK’s first student-services marketplace - developed to provide UK employers with skilled students on affordable, flexible contracts

Founded by three entrepreneurial students, Gradlancer is the UK’s first student-services marketplace - developed to provide UK employers with skilled students on affordable, flexible contracts.

Gradlancer is designed to help business fill part time roles, internships and freelance placements by connecting them with affordable, skilled students studying in relevant areas. It in turn assists students in finding meaningful, flexible work experience around their university courses.

Jay Gujral, co-founder said: “Coming straight from university ourselves, we know how tough it can be to get ahead in your career, especially with so many people graduating these days. We saw an opportunity to help students differentiate themselves by obtaining decent work experience while they study.”

With a launch date of January 2015, Gradlancer are calling to businesses to register their interest to enable instant connections once the service goes live.

Ben Alfrey, co-founder added: “We’ve got student brand ambassadors at universities up and down the country spreading the word and signing new students up on a daily basis. But now we’re on a mission to get as many businesses involved  as possible. If you need support on individual projects, offer internships, placements, or part time roles, we’d love to hear from you.”
