70% of IT recruitment software providers are now iProfile Compatible

TheSkillsMarket, the company that invented the iProfile, are pleased to announce that over 70% of software providers to UK IT recruitment agencies have now made their systems compatible with the iProfile, reaffirming the iProfileís position as an industry standard.

Microdec, TriSys, ITEC, and Voyager have just joined Xperius and Bond in offering the iProfile module to their customers.

The iProfile is a web-based CV that contains industry standard definitions of a candidateís skills, qualifications and preferences. Since the launch of the iProfile 18 months ago, over 20% of UK IT recruitment agencies have already become compatible with it and almost 600,000 UK IT professionals now own one.

By making their systems compatible with the iProfile, CRM providers can now offer their customers a cost-saving solution for improving the quality of their candidate data.

The depressed market conditions have forced most agencies to make dramatic reductions in administrative resource associated with CV processing and updating the database. This is having a major effect on the quality of data available to consultants and the return on investment achieved from the database as a whole.

iProfile allows recruitment companies to automate their CV processing, whilst maintaining the same high levels of data accuracy they achieved through manual data entry. Their data quality is also improved via updates from candidates who can easily inform agencies of changes to their skills, job status and requirements by updating their iProfile online.
