A massive 83% of people say ëNOí; they do not drink alcohol in their lunch break

A survey conducted by www.tiptopjob.com reveals that only 17% of workers drink alcohol in their lunch break. This is a positive finding for all managers and directors and gives them confidence that their employees will continue to be on the ball in the afternoon at work. A whopping 83% of respondents say ëNOí; they do not drink alcohol at lunchtime ñ good on all of you!

Is this a result of the healthier world that we are living in or are there more demands on us at work and so feel we need 100% focus and concentration on our everyday tasks - that is the question?

Although alcohol is a relaxer and makes you more confident when you get back on the phones in the afternoon, drinking in the daytime can disrupt your concentration and have negative effects on your work performance. Probably best to wait until after work to start your drinking.

On the other side however, with the summer approaching and the sun shining, we wonder if lunch at a pub with a pint of cold beer would be a more tempting prospect....
