Bond recognised by Gartner

Bond International Software joins the Gartner Magic Quadrant for E-Recruitment Software for the first time

Bond International Software, the global provider of recruitment & human capital management software and services, today announces that it has been added to the 2008 Gartner Magic Quadrant for E-Recruitment Software ñ the first time that Bond has been included. Gartner notes that Bond ìhas a solid global service and support infrastructure, as well as a global product foundation. Its experience in the third-party staffing firm market provides it with credibility in the corporate recruiting market and it has financial viability through its stock market listingî.

Software vendors were assessed according to two primary criteria ñ Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision ñ resulting in 22 vendors being selected for inclusion in the quadrant from a total surveyed base of 128. Only vendors that had over 100 e-recruitment software customers, 1,000 employees and more than $25 million in total revenue were included in the research, so as, according to Gartner, ìto reflect the continuing maturing and consolidation in the marketî.

Bond is a rapidly growing provider of web-based e-recruitment and talent management software to the corporate market. Bond Talent is a powerful and versatile web-based application specifically developed for organisations who wish to streamline their in-house recruitment processes and save costs, used by some of the best known corporations, including HBOS, Habitat, The Co-operative Group and easyJet.

Tim Richards, Managing Director of Bond International Software, comments, ìWe are delighted to be recognised within the industry in this way. Gartnerís emphasis in the report on recruitment automation to improve efficiency, whilst supporting industry & geographic needs and recruitment challenges, highlights precisely our functionality and ethic. Our software products are designed not as ëout-of-the-boxí solutions, but as flexible platforms from which we can evolve an entirely tailored solution to meet any businessí recruitment needs.î

The Gartner report also highlighted areas in which the customer base expects to see development in the functionality of recruitment software, most notably candidate relationship management, workforce planning and interview management. Richards comments, ìWe already provide many of the services mentioned in the areas of required development. Those requirements that are not currently within our portfolio will be in the very near future and are already being actively pursued in our research division.î
