Seeking to help businesses and organisations hit by the privations of transport, foot-and-mouth and staff shortages, EyeNetwork, a videoconference booking service has launched a business membership scheme.
The new scheme will enable organisations needing to organise videoconferences to have substantial discounts on remote meetings as well as guidance on how to get the best from this method of communication.
Commenting on the launch of this new service, EyeNetworkís managing director Lisa Honan said ìvideoconferences have come of age, at a time when travelling is becoming increasingly difficult and often unnecessary for cost-effective meetings. The only barrier to future widespread use of videoconferences is the psychological resistance to this method of meeting, compared to the face-to-face gathering. Videoconferencing is ecologically desirable, and provides a stress-free way to do business.î
