e-Festival chooses The PR Room

Hampshire, England, April 19th 2004

e-Festival has confirmed that The PR Room will be handling the public relations for its ground-breaking computer event ñ the first ever in the UK to offer on-site camping and free parking for all visitors.

e-Festival is expected to attract over 40,000 visitors over three days and takes place at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire over the last weekend in July this year (Friday 30th July to Sunday 1st August).

e-Festival is centred on two state-of-the-art exhibition halls, and takes full advantage of the infrastructure and facilities of Stoneleigh Park, which is located in the centre of England, less than 90 minutes drive from London at the hub of the UKís motorway and rail networks.

e-Festival aims to capture the spirit of the hugely popular computer events of the 1980s, while embracing 21st Century technology. Designed to offer value for money, it allows visitors full access to five shows on one admission ticket.

e-Xhibit, e-Selling, e-Solutions, e-Learning and e-Xtreme are backed by a 24-hour LAN party that runs over the three days. Visitors will be encouraged to get hands-on with the latest technology and will be able to pick up some great computer bargains as well as find expert advice, for free, on a wide range of topics. Further details are available at the e-Festival website, www.e-fest.co.uk

The PR Roomís founder, Sarah Chard, is delighted to be involved with the project. ìWith so much going on in one venue, e-Festival is going to be an unmissable event for computer enthusiasts of all ages. As the final jigsaw puzzle pieces fall into place, weíll be making many more announcements on the details of e-Festival, which is an event that the industry and consumers have been waiting for.î

Graeme Kidd, like all of e-Festivalís directors, is a veteran of the UK computer industry. ìWeíre pleased to confirm the appointment of The PR Room, who in a short space of time have shown themselves to be an innovative, effective and responsive public relations company. Weíre looking forward to working with them between now and July to make sure the e-Festival message reaches everyone it needs to.î
