eThing launches Data Protection and You

e-learning CD-ROM


eThing has launched íData Protection and Youí, an engaging e-learning programme aimed at teaching the eight principles of Data Protection legislation to employees within companies that handle personal data.


The UKís Data Protection laws can be a minefield for businesses that handle personal data on a regular basis. eThing have created Data Protection and You to train employees on the íins and outsí of the latest legislation. Are they dealing with personal data in a lawful way? eThingís e-learning programme covers the eight Principles of the Data Protection Act 1998, and is a clear, and easy-to-use guide to staying within the law. It contains; Coach Me sessions, Case Studies, Quick Quizzes, Reference materials and a Glossary. The programme will take most people approximately 90 minutes to complete.

The cost of the full íData Protection and Youí programme is normally 500 for unlimited use by 25 users* - that works out at 20 per head. However, anyone ordering before 30th November 2003 will receive a 10% discount, bringing the cost of a disc down to 450 (18 per user). All prices are exclusive of VAT which will be added.

*Each CD is licensed for use by no more than 25 users, e.g. 4 CDs would be required for 90 users.
