The fourth ATSCo charity ball, to be held in October, will be the IT staffing industry’s biggest yet and will look to raise a significant chunk of the 1 million pledged to the NSPCC.
The ball, which will have a vampire theme, will be attended by over 450 guests and feature for the first time the ATSCo Member of the Year Awards ceremony. Nominated by directors and employees of ATSCo member companies and judged by an independent panel of industry experts, awards will be presented in the following categories:
ATSCo Corporate Member of the Year - The full ATSCo member that has most consistently demonstrated the professional values associated with ATSCo membership over the last 12 months. Sponsored by JSA
ATSCo Affiliate Member of the Year - As above, but for ATSCo members that are not staffing companies. Sponsored by Gojobsite
ATSCo Member of the Year - For any individual ATSCo member whose professionalism and commitment best reflects the ’high standards’ expected of ATSCo members. Sponsored by LSM
ATSCo Innovator of the Year - For the company or individual that has conceived or brought to the IT staffing industry the most innovative or pioneering idea over the past 12 months. Sponsored by Cash Friday
ATSCO/NSPCC Award for Charity Fundraising - For the company or individual that has implemented the most effective charity fundraising programme since ATSCo’s inception in 1999.
The ball, to be held at the Dorchester Hotel on October 17, will feature an auction, casino and Radio 1’s Mary Anne Hobbs as DJ. The Dorchester will be a gothic manor for the evening and hordes of the undead will be on hand to entertain the guests.
ATSCo’s Chief Executive, Ann Swain, commented: Tickets have been selling at a phenomenal pace - a good indication of the market picking up - and this year’s event looks set to be the most successful yet. The ATSCo ball will be a fantastic party, major fundraising event and an excellent opportunity for the IT staffing industry to celebrate quality.
