fish4jobs confirmed as the most visited recruitment website amongst UK jobseekers

.

Itís official: fish4jobs is the most visited online recruitment website for jobseekers in the UK, according to the latest National Online Recruitment Audience Survey (NORAS), published today.

NORAS, the industry-standard survey of online recruitment use, gives HR managers and recruitment consultants an independent view of the online recruitment marketplace. A total of 17 online recruitment websites are audited in the survey, including major players such as fish4jobs, Totaljobs and Workthing.

The survey found that 90% of fish4jobs 929,335 monthly visitors are UK residents, confirming the siteís status as the most visited online recruitment website amongst UK jobseekers. ëWeíre delighted with the findings of the study,í says Simon Devitt, publishing director at fish4jobs. ëWeíve witnessed a steady growth in our traffic over the past year. Importantly, weíve also maintained the high quality of our UK user base. Itís fantastic that fish4jobs has continued to attract jobseekers in such high numbers.

ëHowever, I believe itís more the quality of candidates, rather than the quantity, that is persuading our clients ñ direct employers and recruitment consultancies ñ to choose fish4jobs.í

Although Totaljobs received a higher total number of visitors, some 22 per cent of their monthly visitors are based overseas. Over half of this group are non-EU residents without a valid UK work permit.

The NORAS figures follow a recent independent study by NOP World that rated fish4jobs the UKís best-known online recruitment brand. Over the past year fish4jobs has advertised more than one million vacancies from some of the UKís biggest recruiters and consultancies.
