Irish Workers the most amorous in Europe

26% of Irish Workers have kissed a colleague at the office Christmas party, and 15% would if they got the chance

Will you be using this yearís office Christmas party to steal a kiss from a gorgeous colleague youíve had your eye on all year? If so, you will not be alone ñ almost 51% of Irish Workers admit to having kissed a colleague at the office Christmas party in Monsterís latest survey.

The Monster Meter asked ìHave you ever kissed a colleague at your Christmas party?î Over 9,000 Europeans placed a vote, revealing:

17% said: Yes - every year without fail!
17% said: Yes - one or twice
22% said: No, but I would if I got the chance
44% said: No way!

Visitors to the Irish site www.monster.ie said:

26 % said: Yes - every year without fail!
25% said: Yes - one or twice
15% said: No, but I would if I got the chance
31% said: No way!

Every year without fail 26% of Irish workers get lucky under the mistletoe- a high result considering the European average percentage of people choosing this option is 20%. Most keen to follow are the Spaniards, with the highest percentage of respondents (28%) claiming not to have tried their chances with fellow employees during annual festivities, but would be very keen given the chance!

Surprisingly, the amorous Irish top the European poll with a combined amount of 51% of voters who claim to get lucky at the Christmas party every year without fail or have done so once or twice.

The Brits came a relatively distant second with 45%. It could be argued that the Brits use such events as an excuse to express their affectionate side, which is so often suppressed.

Christmas kisses amongst colleagues are harder to come by in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, with over 50% of respondents in these countries exclaiming ìNo way!î to Monsterís latest poll question.
