Debuting next month, the Monster Employment Index will provide U.S. labor market watchers with a broad analysis of the demand for jobs online. Monthly findings will be based on job posting data collected from Monster and more than 1,500 carefully selected Web sites, believed to be representative of employer activity nationwide.The Monster Employment Index will officially debut on Thursday, April 1, with the release of data for the month of March 2004. Moving forward, the Index will be released on or around the beginning of each month.
