Petroplan, the oil and gas recruitment consultancy which counts BP, Total and Shell among its clients, is upgrading its Web site to cope with increased interest in its services after a period of international growth.
Web design agency TAMBA Internet has created a comprehensive site that allows applicants to register interest in Petroplanís vacancies and post CVs online. The site also integrates with Petroplanís third party recruitment application, which means that when the company enters a job on its internal systems, each post is now automatically added to the Web site. In addition, CVs sent in via the Web site are automatically uploaded to Petroplanís internal database once a day.
ìOur previous site was more of an online brochure,î said Tim Jenkins, IT & C Manager at Petroplan. ìWe needed a better interface for suppliers and applicants as we are an international business.î
Petroplan has offices in Guilford and Aberdeen, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Moscow, and Calgary. The company registered to trade in the USA earlier this year.
ìPetroplan chose TAMBA over five other agencies based on our experience in developing recruitment sites with interactive job search systems,î said Kay Hammond, MD of TAMBA Internet. ìThe new site is now undergoing a search marketing campaign to drive targeted traffic and increase candidate enquiries.î
