Request a recruit - 03/2001

New product from Oxford Software

Oxford Software has launched Request, an exciting new product for recruitment companies, which opens up the world of e-recruitment by providing a powerful and comprehensive software package to manage the interaction with Internet jobsites. Request provides the essential link between Oxford Software's own established Recruit front-office candidate, client and vacancy system and the increasingly popular jobsites, either third party ones or a recruitment company's own, dedicated site.

It provides the key aspects of jobsite management; the actual posting of jobs and receiving of candidate details, and administering the many transactions involved, relating them to clients, projects and campaigns.

Request posts job vacancies to selected sites, keeping track of dates, costs and contract details. Details of jobs can be transferred from the Recruit database and the information automatically converted to the format required by each Internet jobsite. Details can be prepared offline and a 'batch' of job vacancies uploaded to a number of jobsites.

Many recruitment companies may have their own websites to promote themselves and their services and encourage emails from interested candidates and clients, but are undecided about investing in a more complex and sophisticated jobsite with facilities comparable to those of a commercial third-party site.

Oxford Software has also teamed up with JobSearch, to offer its recruitment company users of Recruit an easy route to their own, ready-made personalised jobsite. The high specification site includes a searchable vacancy database and the time-saving facility of batch posting of job vacancies provided by a specially-tailored version of Request. In addition to jobs being posted on the recruitment company's own job site, subscribers can also choose to post jobs to JobSearch's own popular site and also forward details to other third party jobsites.
