Skill4 sponsors UKs top national sales awards

Skill4 today confirms sponsorship of the Telesales Professional of the Year category of the National Sales Awards 2004. This yearís Awards attracted entries from the cream of the British Sales Industry, who will turn out on 27 February 2004 for the eighth annual Awards night to recognise and promote best practice across the industry.

Skill4ís managing consultant Annalize Cuthill and CEO Tony Hughes are also on the judging panel for the award.

Skill4 is a partner company of Huthwaite International. Huthwaite is best known in the international market for its delivery of sales effectiveness programmes, specifically the SPIN Selling Skills suite. Huthwaiteís behavioural research provides the backbone to the programmes delivered by Skill4 for call and contact centres.

David Freedman, Pete Belsey and Alison Morris of Huthwaite International are also on the judging panel of the Awards., Utilising their expertise, they will select the very best candidates to find this yearís winning Sales Professionals of the Year in IT, healthcare and financial services.

Cuthill says: ìSales reps in all industries are experiencing a seismic shift in selling techniques from features-focused to interpersonal skills. The National Sales Awards event provides the perfect platform to reward those who are getting it right and ensure that their best practice continues.î

The finalists of the Telesales Professional of the Year, sponsored by Skill4 are: Carly Morgan of AXA PPP Healthcare; Jennifer Celerier of Centrica; James Berry of Hays DX and Tina George of Home Service (GB) ltd.

A total of 34 different Awards will be given out before an audience of more than 1,000 sales professionals and other VIPs at Londonís Le Meridean Grosvenor House in Park Lane.

Chairman of the Judges Don Hales said: ìThe overall quality of this yearís finalists is as high as in previous years, and we wish everyone the best of luck for the night. It is important that all the finalists receive the recognition they deserve as is it vital to British industry that the highest standards are encouraged and best practice promoted.î

Now in their eighth year, The National Sales Awards are organised by the leading events and publishing firm Quest Media to recognise and promote best practice in the sales industry.
