Spencer Ogden expands US operations

Spencer Ogden, the global energy, engineering, and infrastructure recruitment firm, has launched three new offices in Fort Lauderdale, New York City, and Alabama.

The new offices, which bring the company’s total number of international offices to 15, will primarily serve marine and drilling organisations across the Americas.

David Spencer-Percival, co-founder and chief executive of Spencer Ogden, comments: “Our work in the States so far has been phenomenal. We’ve cultivated a really happy international client base and with these new offices, we can now cover a wider geographical area and offer a wider range of services to them.”

In the years since Spencer Ogden launched its first US office in 2011, the company’s American presence has grown exponentially. Employing over 85 staff members, its locations cover both coasts and several states, and in 2015 it generated £40,545,275 in overall sales.

The Fort Lauderdale, Alabama, and New York offices will be led by Josh Hecht, Lauren Muse, and Henry De Lusignan respectively – experienced managers and recruitment leaders with considerable US experience.

De Lusignan says: “Taking the helm of Spencer Ogden’s New York office is an exciting challenge and the team and I are more than up for it. The business has set a fantastic precedent with its other international locations, and we can’t wait to get started.”

Headquartered in London, Spencer Ogden recently expanded its offering to include engineering and infrastructure recruitment with the launch of its new rail, automotive, and built environment departments, in addition to its energy division.

Spencer-Percival concludes: “It’s an exciting time for Spencer Ogden. We’re on track to record our best year yet as we launch in new territories and expand our new divisions. Watch this space!”
