Workthing wins Best Online Service

at the 2004 Recruiter Awards

Workthing owned by the Guardian Media Group, has won the title of Best Online Service at the 2004 Recruiter Awards for Excellence.

Last year, Workthing took the title of Best E-Crutiment Service, and this year the judges concluded that Workthing was a big player in its field and justifiably so. They added: Workthing has a clean, user-friendly candidate site with good technical backup for both clients and candidates. It has a good search facility with channels dedicated to different industries, allowing candidates full control over their careers. And it offers an effective and cost-effective process which allows recruiters to sift and sort responses.

Other shortlisted finalists included, Aardvark Swift Consulting, Exec-Appointments, Jobsite and Reed Health Group.

Andy Baker, Managing Director of Workthing, commented: To receive this accolade two years in a row is a fantastic achievement - we’re continually working on improvements and hope the changes that will be introduced during 2004 will guarantee our award hat-trick!

Workthing has won numerous awards since its launch in July 2000 including: ’The Best Employment Advice Website’ from judges of the National Online Recruitment Awards, the IRNA award for ’Best Recruitment Job Board’, and the Web User Gold Award for ’Best Jobsite’.
