Classpeople and Red Letter Days for Business partner to reward UK supply teachers and early years staff

Classpeople, the leading education recruitment specialists in the South–West, is today celebrating the sixth winner of its Best in Education Award that recognises hard-working supply teachers and Early Years Education (EYE) staff in the UK

Classpeople, the leading education recruitment specialists in the South–West, is today celebrating the sixth winner of its Best in Education Award that recognises hard-working supply teachers and Early Years Education (EYE) staff in the UK.

In January 2015, Classpeople partnered with incentive and reward experts, Red Letter Days for Business, to launch the initiative that sees a supply teacher or EYE employee awarded each month for showing dedication and commitment to their role. The monthly winner is congratulated with a bottle of fizz, certificate, and a £100 Red Letter Days voucher.

Tanith Harding, PR and Marketing Manager at Classpeople comments: “Our supply staff work so hard to ensure that during sickness and long-term absences our schools and settings can deliver seamless education. They are ready and waiting by the phone to be deployed to the places that need them and often travel long distances to help out our clients. We wanted to reward our staff for working so hard and the Red Letter Days for Business package seemed like the perfect way to do so.”

Martin Mills, EYE practitioner from Stroud, Gloucestershire, is Classpeople’s sixth Best in Education Award winner. Martin says: “I am very excited to have won this award having been nominated for a second time. Classpeople is a fantastic employer and I really enjoy working with them. I’m looking forward to using my Red Letter Days voucher to treat myself and a loved one.”

Victoria Hardy, Corporate Sales Manager at Red Letter Days for Business, says: “Since the awards launched in January the response from the staff and schools has been overwhelmingly positive. These teachers and Early Years professionals work in a number of different settings and therefore it is harder for them to receive recognition for the hard work that they do. Classpeople is making such a difference to these teachers by celebrating their work and raising awareness of the dedication they show to the education sector. We’re thrilled to be part of such an exciting employee campaign.”
