VERCIDA and 55/Redefined announce strategic partnership to scale age-inclusive hiring across the UK

VERCIDA, the employer branding and candidate intelligence platform, today announces an exclusive strategic partnership with 55/Redefined, the company redefining work for the 100-year life.

VERCIDA already supports age-inclusive employers with dedicated features, campaigns and candidate-facing content. This partnership deepens that capability significantly. 55/Redefined’s specialist age intelligence, its global Certified Age Friendly Employer programme and its network of experienced and mid-later career candidates all now feed into the VERCIDA platform, strengthening the data, reach and commercial proposition for employers serious about age inclusion.

55/Redefined’s employer clients are being migrated to VERCIDA, where they gain access to the platform’s full inclusion infrastructure: every job listing automatically enriched with culture content, inclusive features and live demographic pipeline data, benchmarked monthly against industry and sector peers. For organisations that previously focused on age as a standalone initiative, this means age-inclusive hiring embedded within a broader, measurable employer branding strategy for the first time.

For VERCIDA’s existing employer clients, the partnership opens up 55/Redefined’s certification ecosystem, including the globally recognised Certified Age Friendly Employer programme, and brings a larger pool of experienced candidates actively seeking age-inclusive roles onto the platform. Employers already benchmarking their inclusion performance through the VERCIDA platform now have the option to pair that data with a credible, externally validated age credential.

VERCIDA’s platform has generated more than 100 million jobseeker interactions and is trusted by employers including Aviva, British Antarctic Survey, Sainsbury’s, Jacobs, Lloyds, Sage, VodafoneThree and Wellcome Trust. 55/Redefined is trusted by over 300 corporates worldwide, including Amazon, Barclays, AXA, Diageo and Tesco, and operates across 31 US states and over 10 countries.

The partnership builds on 55/Redefined’s recent acquisition of the US-based Age Friendly Institute, enabling employers to pair globally recognised age certification with VERCIDA’s data-driven talent attraction – closing the gap between policy commitment and hiring outcomes.

"Age inclusion has always been part of what we do, what this partnership changes is the depth and scale of that offer, through a shared belief that inclusion should be measurable, actionable and embedded into every stage of the hiring journey," said Morgan Lobb, CEO of VERCIDA. "For 55/Redefined clients joining our platform, it’s a step change – full inclusion infrastructure wrapped around what was a single-axis age offering. For ours, it’s a significant upgrade: certification and candidate reach and they couldn’t access before."

"Organisations are under increasing pressure to solve talent shortages while demonstrating real, measurable progress," said Lyndsey Simpson, CEO and Founder of 55/Redefined. "This partnership with VERCIDA gives the market a scalable way to attract midlife and experienced talent, while turning their culture and values into a clear competitive advantage."
