'Prospects Services for Graduates' has launched at www.prospects.ac.uk/interactive, which provides confidential, impartial and free email advice from professional careers consultants to help graduates make the right career choices during their formative working years.
Introduced by CSU (Careers Services Unit) and AGCAS (Association of Graduates Careers Advisory Services) and designed to provide round the clock, in-depth careers planning guidance for graduates, the timely launch of 'Prospects Services for Graduates' follows hot on the heels of a DfEE report calling for careers advice for graduates.
Many graduates feel quite isolated when developing careers strategies and preparing job applications without the support of their peers, tutors or higher education Careers Services. Whilst nine out of ten graduates secure professional jobs within three years of graduation, Prospects Services to Graduates is designed to help them make the right careers decisions by extending the support of Careers Services beyond campus, said Mike Hill, chief executive, CSU.
