IT-Link and Modis Europe merge to form
Europeís largest ICT, engineering and e-Business consultancy
Modis Europe, Europeís largest ICT Consultancy, has merged with its sister company IT-Link, the leading ERP and e-Business Consultancy, to form a major new ₤40m (Ä67m) per year company. IT-Link will now be called Modis Enterprise Solutions and will continue to focus on its core business of offering specialist SAP and e-business services. The merger will provide faster access to specialist ERP software Consultants to Modis Customers, while Modis Enterprise Solutionsí Customers will benefit with faster access to ICT and Engineering professionals.
ìWe look forward to capitalising on some very powerful synergies with this merger,î said Dean Hunton, Sales Director of the newly merged company. ìFor example, the sales and marketing expertise from Modis Enterprise Solutions is now available to Modis Europe. And the operational skills from Modis Europe will be rolled out to Modis Enterprise Solutions. There are also plenty of economies of scale, with shared offices and personnel. But the most important benefit of the merger is the cross-marketing opportunities. Now, Customer bases from the previously two distinct companies will benefit from a much broader offer.î
The merger brings together more than 300 Consultants and 50 staff based in offices in Eindhoven, Brussels, Frankfurt, Paris, Rome, and Milan. The merger also comes at a time of major investment in payroll and back-office functions by MPS Group International (the parent company of Modis Europe and Modis Enterprise Solutions, , the international subsidiary of MPS Group, Inc. ), as well as name changes and rationalisations of other companies in various MPS Group divisions..
MPS Group International has also recently invested heavily in the development of a specialist e-procurement system where Consultantsí skills, talents and experience are instantly matched with suitable positions.
Corporate customers across Europe will benefit with specialised IT resource solutions in industries such as Telecommunications, Avionics, Space, Semiconducors, Banking, Software, Electronics, The Internet, and Networking.
Consultants are also set to benefit; the mergerís cross marketing opportunities provides Consultants with greater access to Europeís blue chip companies. In addition, MPS Group International offers all Consultants Internet-Based Training to enhance their skills and keep them at the forefront of new technologies. ìThis benefits our Consultants as well as our Corporate Customers,î said Hunton.
IT Link Limited has been part of MPS Group (NYSE: MPS) since 1997. It was originally acquired as the specialist SAP division of the Modis European organisation and has remained Modis Europeís specialist SAP brand for the past 6 years. Although this specialist SAP service has changed its name to Modis Enterprise Solutions, the companyís fundamental business focus remains the same, as will all of its personnel, management structure and office locations. The only exception will be our new website address, which becomes:
