fish4jobs has launched its online jobs search service to over 6.5 million Sky Digital homes throughout the UK, giving viewers access to tens of thousands of jobs advertisements.
This announcement brings fish4jobs to this audience for the first time. In addition potential job seekers will be able to access ads on fish4jobs based on what they see on TV.
According to fish4 marketing director Jonathan Lines, ìThis is an exciting development. We are already the number one Internet based jobs search service and this announcement broadens our reach even further. However recruiters are also set to benefit due to the immediacy of interactive television.
ìPreviously you might have seen something on TV that made you think about switching careers but never got around to doing something about it. Now you can access the relevant job vacancies there and then.î
Will Harding, Interactive Services Director at Sky Interactive adds, ìWe are delighted to have launched fish4jobs on Sky Active. Sky Active gives you easy access to lifeís essentials and with fish4jobs on board, Sky viewers can search ads that span a huge range of jobs.î
In addition to fish4jobs, the fish4network includes fish4homes and fish4cars. As part of the agreement, fish4cars and fish4homes will also be included in Sky Activeís interactive content.
fish4 is owned by the UKís regional newspaper groups. fish4ís owners and additional subscriber groups represent around sixty percent of the regional papers that are read by millions of people up and down the country every day.
fish4jobs is also available online at fish4jobs.co.uk and through NTL and Telewestís digital cable services.
