Eden Brown acquires ESA

.

Eden Brown is enhancing it’s range of services through the acquisition of search and selection consultancy ESA - Executive Selection Associates.

Formed in 1985 ESA specialises in serving companies involved with the built environment - including architecture, planning and construction, areas also covered by recruitment consultants Eden Brown who already serve some of the same clients in the sector.

Over the last five years we have evolved from being purely recruitment suppliers to being service providers, solving the wider HR and recruitment problems of our clients, said Ian Wolter, managing director of Eden Brown. ESA completes the range of services we aim to offer.

ESA shares our values, it fits in terms of our service approach and professionalism. The opportunity to grow this business in it’s existing markets as well as the other markets we serve is phenomenal. It’s our first acquisition, and it’s an excellent fit.

The nature of search means ESA will be kept as an independent brand and operate quite separately in spite of moving to Eden Brown’s offices at Sun Street in the City.

Pete Easby, managing director of ESA commented: We have always maintained an open and professional approach and over the years enjoyed strategic relationships with some of the most influential people in our sector. By joining forces with what we and the market
perceive as one of the most innovative service providers, we are able to extend our offering of unique recruitment solutions even further.

This development gives ESA the opportunity to develop the existing team and attract some new talent as we continue to expand. We will be offering employees the best in the way of flexibility in the work place and individual respect, a formula we recommend to clients and take seriously ourselves.
