On Friday 24th October, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and Lovells will publish the results of a nationwide survey which investigates the impact of the Governmentís new flexible working arrangements - six months after the legislation was introduced.
The report, A Parentís Right to Ask, surveys 510 organisations and will show:
* a revealing breakdown of the number of requests made by men in relation to women.
* the percentage increase in the number of requests since the inception of the legislation
* the proportion of all flexible working requests accepted by employers since April.
* the problems that organisations have had with implementing the legislation.
* whether organisations plan to extend the right to all employees and the views of those who do not currently have the right.
