Doctors.net.uk – the UK’s largest and most active online network of doctors with more than 200,000 members – has launched a free service to support NHS hospitals in reducing their recruitment advertising spend.
The service, which will enable NHS hospitals to list permanent medical vacancies free of charge via Doctors.net.uk’s recruitment division, will help to reduce the cost of filling posts, particularly those that are vacant for long periods of time.
Vacancies can be loaded instantly on to the Doctors.net.uk service, which is visited by more than 30,000 GMC registered doctors every month, and advertisers can track applications easily online.
Applicants can supply their CV directly to an advertiser’s inbox or via NHS Jobs. The listings are supplemented by a number of optional, paid for advertising services that can help to increase reach.
Matthew Sparrow, Business Development Manager for Recruitment at Doctors.net.uk, said: ‘This new service reflects our commitment to support the delivery of better healthcare in the UK and to help the NHS reduce the costs of medical recruitment.’
