In the job offer of a lifetime - and timed to coincide with the New Year, the UK’s only gym marketplace, www.PayasUgym.com is offering a member of the public the chance to apply for The Fittest Job in the World.

For 3 months, the successful applicant will be paid in line with the average annual London salary - £27,000 - to travel and stay around the UK, exercise at and review a selection of the gyms partnered with the website. Applicants must be over 18, and live in the UK.

The successful candidate will also be given regular expert fitness advice and guidance from celebrity personal trainer Zac Taylor, be given free nutrition and diet support and have travel and accommodation expenses paid for.

Applicants are being asked to upload a short video by Friday the 23rd January, in which they should explain why they would like the job.

Ten applicants will be shortlisted - five men and five women, at which point the public will be able to vote for their favourite, between Monday the 26th January and Friday the 6th February.

The top four candidates, two men and two women, will then be invited to interviews and a selection day in mid-February, to ensure they have the ability to complete 12 weeks of guided exercise.

The successful candidate will be announced the week commencing 2nd March.

Upon being appointed, the employee will share their 12 week journey on PayasUgym.com’s social media channels, using the hashtag #fittestjob. There will also be regular expert diet and fitness advice for people keen to stick to their New Year’s resolutions to learn from:
