Grays Executive Search heads north in latest expansion

New search and selection consultancy, Grays Executive Search, part of nationwide recruitment giant, Cordant Recruitment, has headed north in its latest expansion with the opening of a new office in Newcastle

New search and selection consultancy, Grays Executive Search, part of nationwide recruitment giant, Cordant Recruitment, has headed north in its latest expansion with the opening of a new office in Newcastle.

The latest Newcastle office is part of Grays Executive Search’s ambitious plans to develop a network of strategic regional hubs to meet the demand for its executive and interim search services in the UK and overseas. This latest move comes just weeks after opening its Birmingham office in March and only six months since launching at the stunning redevelopment at Kings Cross, London.

Grays Executive Search specialises in senior and board level recruitment across a range of sectors.

Dylan Christie has been appointed as the Director of the Newcastle office. He has 15 years’ experience in senior level recruitment, including working for some of the UK’s largest recruiters, as well as experience of running his own boutique recruitment agency in the city.

Said Dylan Christie:  “With the huge level of investment and growth in the north-east, from world class firms to new developments such as Science Central, there is a rising demand for top level people in the region. We also have an exciting new economy - technology, media and telecoms, along with established industries such as automotive, financial and petrochemical businesses.

“Personally, working for Grays was a good fit because it encourages entrepreneur drive and ambition, while I also now have all the support and contacts of a nationwide business, along with my own local expertise and connections.”

Adds Simon Bell, Group Managing Director of Grays Executive Search: "Expanding into the executive search and interim markets in Newcastle strengthens our market position and the opportunity of adding Dylan to our team along with a new office opening was too good to miss.  With our presence in three of the largest cities in the UK we’re now looking to further expand our regional hubs in the future.”
