Joe Slavin needs no introduction after a high profile successful career in various online business sectors, showing us not only how to manage businesses but also demonstrating how to go through intelligent diversification and stay ahead of the pack.
It is well known that most candidates search for job opportunities online. With one central piece of equipment, the computer linked to the internet, a candidate can obtain a snapshot of the jobs market in a way previous generations could only dream about.
However, there are several well documented reasons for nervousness about the future for recruitment: nervousness about issues relating to confidentiality, reputation, perceived restrictions on the amount of data which can be supplied, and the lack of fairness and proper review in the evaluation process “in the name of efficiency”. Cost issues continue to dominate, ensuring that online will continue its relentless march forward. However, what can the industry do to enhance the candidate experience and make it more attractive to a wider range of candidates?
Jo is a very knowledgeable and thought provoking speaker and we are fortunate that he has agreed to address us. Please make every effort to attend
