de Poel, a global workforce solutions specialist, has announced the opening of its new Netherlands office, based in Sittard, as part of the business’ growth strategy.
Focusing across all business sectors, the new European office will deliver de Poel’s excellence in Managed Service Provision (MSP), pay rolling and employability. The European venture will be headed up by Managing Director Raymond Wijnands, supported by six members of staff with another two hires expected imminently.
Matthew Sanders, CEO of de Poel commented: “The opening of our new office in the Netherlands is fantastic news for us and we are looking forward to operating in Europe. de Poel is a fine example of a successful British company that through hard work and ambition has become a leader in the temporary labour procurement market and is now exporting this model overseas. We hope to use our expertise and experience to help European brands procure temporary labour effectively and efficiently going forward.
“There were many factors that made The Netherlands an obvious choice as a location to establish our European office. These include; the similar employment patterns for temporary workers to those in the UK, the higher percentage of workers that are on temporary contracts, and the location offering easy access to Benelux and Germany which will enable us to operate across a number of countries. These factors all offer significant growth opportunities.”
Raymond Wijnands, MD of de Poel Nederland said: “de Poel is a leader in its market and I look forward to this exciting phase of its future development. The last seven years has seen de Poel achieve rapid growth and a growing client base over a wide range of sectors, and I hope that we can replicate this success across Europe.”
