Totaljobs.com launches new jobseeker app for iOS and Android

Following a 50 per cent increase in mobile traffic to the totaljobs.com website, the company has developed a new mobile app optimised for iOS and Android devices. Since launch, totaljobs.com has had 20,000 downloads and engagement from users is three times that of the desktop site

Following a 50 per cent increase in mobile traffic to the totaljobs.com website, the company has developed a new mobile app optimised for iOS and Android devices.  Since launch, totaljobs.com has had 20,000 downloads and engagement from users is three times that of the desktop site.

The app has featured as one of the ‘Best New Apps’ of the week in the Apple App Store, and was ranked the second ‘New Top-App’ in the Google Playstore business category.

Jobseekers can apply for jobs on the go through the app and send CVs to prospective employers via cloud-based services DropBox, Google Drive, Box or OneDrive. This generates a quicker response for employers and gives jobseekers more flexibility, making it faster and easier than ever before to find the right job.

Users can create customised job notifications right on their handset, which highlight new jobs within an hour of them going live on the totaljobs.com website, tailored to salary, distance and relevance. Every totaljobs.com vacancy is accessible to users through the app, meaning job hunters can view over 110,000 jobs at any time.

Jobseekers can also share their favourite job advert via social media, or use the in-app map functionality to explore the location of their chosen job.
