Developed by Cambridge based company Human.IT, Aspire, a suite of innovative ability tests, has been launched. Human.IT has combined neuropsychology with IT to enable a cognitive - or mental ability - profile to be developed of candidates. Aspire is initially targeted at the recruitment market and will offer an insight into extra dimensions of ability, such as speed of response.
The interactive Aspire tasks measure six cognitive factors including abilities such as learning, planning, information processing, mental flexibility and strategy formation. Aspire has a game-like quality and is more engaging than traditional multiple choice questionnaires.
