Totaljobs.com has announced that it has teamed up with MSN, the UK's number one website, to provide exclusive jobs content to MSN's brand new Jobs channel. The seven-figure, two-year deal, which goes live on 2nd May, further underlines MSN's ongoing strategy to partner with 'best of breed' online content providers.
The deal will enable MSN's millions of users to search from around 30,000 job vacancies across all industry sectors, with content provided exclusively by totaljobs.com, on the new MSN Jobs channel.
Featuring high value, integrated content, the new offering gives candidates helpful job seeking tools, including a salary checker and CV writing service. The channel replaces the previous careers section on MSN, and will be re-launched as MSN Jobs to reflect the commitment of both
totaljobs.com and MSN to providing jobseekers with the best source of vacancies online.
Partnering with leading content providers is a key part of MSN's strategy to deliver the very best of the web to its users. The arrangement with totaljobs.com follows a similar deal with Sky to provide the latest football and sports news on the MSN portal.
Shaun Collins, marketing director for totaljobs.com, says: As the online recruitment industry further consolidates, it is increasingly important for job boards to offer extended reach and a strong brand identity to
recruiters. MSN is the UK's No. 1 website with 11.8 million unique users every month, and this deal not only allows a greater number of candidates to access the jobs listed on totaljobs.com, giving employers access to a greater pool of talent, but also reaffirms the reputation of totaljobs.com as the leading brand for jobs on the web.
Amanda Anthony, B2B marketing manager for MSN added: This new partnership is a significant win for us because it fits perfectly with our business strategy of partnering with best-of-breed content providers. It will also bring huge benefits to jobseekers nationwide that can now access
up-to-the-minute information on thousands of jobs, from one central location.
