Almost 23 percent of adults in Slovakia have used the Internet, according to a report on Europemedia.
The report cites research from Taylor Nelson Sofres Factum, which says that most users have been online for less than two years. The most popular online activities are using email and searching for information.
The report also says that 27.6 percent of Slovakians have access to PCs at work or at school, while 23.8 percent have PCs at home.
Almost 19 percent of those polled had never heard of the Internet.
