Peopleclick forms strategic alliance with spherion corporation

Alliance Expands Peopleclick's Reach into the Business Process Outsourcing Market

Peopleclick, has announced it has formed a strategic alliance with Spherion Corporation, a recruitment, technology and outsourcing services provider. Through the strategic alliance, both companies will market Web-based recruitment and vendor management solutions, with Peopleclick providing a technology platform and Spherion serving as a preferred workforce management provider.

The alliance enhances Spherion's workforce management solutions and provides Spherion customers with access to Peopleclick's technology platform, which includes market-leading tools for vendor management, recruiting and regulatory compliance. Recently, Peopleclick's vendor management solution, clickXG-VMS, was awarded one of Human Resource Executive magazine's product of the year awards.

The alliance expands Peopleclick's reach into the business process outsourcing (BPO) market, which is defined by services firms who manage all of a business function for another company, such as employment process solutions. Analysts from Gartner/Dataquest expect the global business process outsourcing market to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 9.6% to reach $178.5 billion in 2005.

The alliance with Peopleclick is expected to open up new opportunities to market Spherion's recruitment, outsourcing and technology services to Peopleclick's rapidly growing list of clients, said Bob Livonius, Spherion's chief operating officer.
