VetJobs.com, has announced the formation of a national alliance between the SCORE Association, counsellors to Americaís small business, and VetJobs. VetJobs (www.vetjobs.com) and SCORE (www.score.org) are working together to increase awareness about resources available to veterans currently in the workforce and transitioning military personnel for finding jobs and starting small businesses.
VetJobs is featured in the Business Resources section of the SCORE website as a site for businesses that are searching for highly trained, reliable employees. SCORE is featured in the Veteran Resources and Alliance sections and of the VetJobs website. Featured articles by SCORE volunteers who are veterans will be added to the Employment Assistance section. The Veteran Resources section of the VetJobs site will also provide information about starting a business and highlight the SCORE resources available to help military men and women prepare for business ownership.
