With Android users reported to outnumber iPhone users by more than two to one, it’s no wonder that SJD Accountancy, the UK’s leading accountants to contractors, freelancers, consultants and interims, have replicated their popular iPhone apps for Android users as well.
Marketing Manager, Luisa Lawrence, says that with a 40 per cent increase in new clients since 2011, the new Android apps will help support this ongoing rise. The apps will hopefully encourage more people to make the move into contracting, whilst also echoing the success seen so far with the iPhone apps – over 15,500 downloads since their launch in 2011.
“We are always looking into new and innovative ways of making the move from permanent to contracting easier for our clients. These apps also benefit those that are currently in a contract and have decided to make the move into a new role. The feedback received from the iPhone applications was very positive and we wanted to extend this simple and effective method of relaying information out to Android users as well.”
