IntaPeople, the specialist IT and Engineering recruitment consultancy, is launching a new Recruitment Career Development Programme, tailored for staff at every stage of their working life.
The structured programme has been designed to help IntaPeople recruitment consultants; from the training academy to early career, mid-career and even senior consultants.
Sophie Kelleher is Principal Talent Resourcer and Trainer at IntaPeople.
“Starting out in recruitment can be daunting,” said Kelleher. “The world of work is very different today than it was 10 years ago, and in 10 years’ time it will be a very different environment again.
“We experience change in the workplace gradually, sometimes without realising it’s happening and what it means. Often we try the best we can to cope as it happens. The new IntaPeople Career Development Programme addresses these changes.
“Maintaining discipline, focus and motivation throughout any working life can be challenging, but recruitment is a credible long-term career for people of all professional backgrounds, and ages. This programme is a pledge to recognise the evolving professional needs of our consultants, and a sustainable commitment to their growth and development.”
IntaPeople’s new career development structure has a focused and consultative approach. Added to the 12 week Academy for new recruitment consultants are modules on niche industry terminologies, conversion analysis, commercial agreements and advanced negotiation.
IntaPeople Operations Director, Phil Handley, commented: “As a recruitment consultancy we deal first and foremost with people and their skills, and what those skills can bring to a business.
“With this new programme we’ve underlined our commitment to training, developing and upskilling staff. The new Development Programme will help us apply the same dedication to our own staff, providing an incentive for potential new members of staff and improving the quality of service to clients.”
