Those are situations that harm your reputation and make it harder to maintain positive relationships with your clients.
So Many Add-Ons
Add-ons to software are great, but they can also be something of a distraction. This is especially true if you do spring for an updated version only to find that something you could do before now requires downloading another add-on. Before you know it, there will be so many add-ons that you wonder what the original software was supposed to accomplish.
It may be time to start with a clean slate. A different software package that has all or most of what you need built in means you can break the cycle of constantly installing more add-ons. The thing is that your growing business requires that you also broaden the way that you do things. If the current software does not allow you to customize as much as you need, the only alternative is to look for something that will allow more flexibility.
This is a good time to take advantage of free trials. You can load just enough data in the test version to see how it compares with what you already have. If the outcome is favorable, then you will know that it’s time to make a move.
The Customer Support Lacks Quite a Bit
You don’t need to reach out to the customer support team often, which is actually a good thing. When you did have to contact the team, it seemed as if getting anyone to provide support other than reading off a prepared script was impossible. The amount of time it took to get a response to a simple query left you feeling as if your business didn’t matter at all
If this applies to you, it’s time to find a different software provider who places a premium on customer service and support. On the odd occasion when you do need help, you’ll get information that’s dependable and actually helps.
