New online service launches with a proven formula to successfully match senior executives into jobshares, following a study which demonstrates that jobshares and flexible workers are outperforming their stand-alone counterparts.
www.flexecutive.co.uk, the brainchild of flexible work company The Resource Connection, will provide the first online jobshare register to middle managers and above, positions which employers have historically believed to be unworkable for jobshare. Flexecutive.co.uk will also deliver a full flexible employment service, as well as support services for flexible working. The service is based on the company's exclusively developed TAS model, a means of identifying the key personality traits ideally suited for professional jobshare partnerships, all of which have been identified and quantified in research.
This research commissioned by The Resource Connection, in association with The Industrial Society, and psychometric specialists Saville & Holdsworth, found that 70 per cent of senior executives in jobshare generated 30 per cent more output then one person doing the same job, and jobsharers scored high on problem solving, team work and flexibility.
Crucially, the study also reveals that managers of both jobshares and individual flexible workers rate those workers as providing a higher level of output than traditional full time employees.
