Almost half of Estonian population online

Around 39 percent of Estonians are now online. However, Internet adoption in the rest of the Baltic States remains reasonably low.

New figures released by EMOR indicate that 410,000 Estonians aged between 15 and 74 years, are now online.

In neighbouring Latvia, around 293,000 adults are online, equivalent to 16 percent of the population.

Almost 18 percent of Lithuanians are online, according to EMOR. This is equivalent to 493,000 citizens with access to the Internet.
