A software development company has brought a sense of fun to learning workplace Health & Safety.
Maverick Developments, based in Norfolk, has spent the last two years making a product called Tutus. It uses computer games technology to recreate workplace environments that the user walks around in answering questions and looking for hazards.
A vast range of industries are covered in Tutus, such as offices, catering, warehouses, factories and construction.
Tutus was recently featured on BBC television and was a contender for the SciTech awards.
Reknowned restaurant The Ratcatchers Inn uses Tutus to train its staff, enabling them to win national awards for Food Safety and Hygiene and Customer Service. Other uses include Government Offices and Construction groups.
As well as the set locations that come with Tutus, environments can be made of your workplace too, enabling you to teach key issues relevant to your business without the cost and time in doing so for real.
