McLean Ross rebrand with new website launch

To coincide with the launch of their fully mobile optimised website redesign, successful recruitment consultancy, McLean Ross, have rebranded.

Following the news of Google’s updated mobile algorithm, the boutique recruitment consultancy has used their website update as an opportunity to unify them more strategically into the Opus Professional Service Group.

McLean Ross was founded in 2011 by Managing Director, Catherine McLean. The team specialise in hiring within the energy and utility industry with a focus on business development and strategical innovation.

With the desire to grow her sustainable business model further, Catherine enlisted the help of CEO of the Opus Professional Services Group, Darren Ryemill, who acknowledged the market opportunity and provided the company with an infrastructure in order to replicate the impressive high growth of other brands under Opus' wing.

The business has redeveloped its logo which, whilst still maintaining the McLean Ross brand image and original colour palette, keeps to the overall brand essence of the Opus Group.

They have also branded the website more uniformly with the Opus brand design along with a mobile optimised version officially launching on Monday 13th July, adhering to Google’s ‘Mobilegeddon’ algorithm update.

Whilst the original McLean Ross website was well managed and accommodating to its users, the news that 80% of people use their smartphones to scan the worldwide web suggested that it was time to make a change.

As well as this, McLean Ross has generated six times more revenue since joining the Opus Group and it was time to build a more functional website accommodating to this increase in user flow and larger database.

The new augmented site allows people to gain a real insight into the business, as well as allowing users to apply for jobs with ease. McLean Ross have streamlined their application process in order to make it even more effortless, including an 'Apply through LinkedIn' functionality.
