800-Prize for recruiter who smashes 200,000 job record

Recruitment site reed.co.uk is offering a prize worth up to 800 to the recruiter who adds the record 200,000th job to the continually updated list of current opportunities available on the site at any one time.

At the time of writing reed.co.uk carries 195,207 jobs, making it already the largest UK recruitment site for jobs.

Recruiters use reed.co.uk’s Freecruitment service to add jobs at no cost, attracted by the 2.4million visitors who respond with over half a million applications a month.

Even though reed.co.uk hasn’t advertised on TV since Y2000, word of mouth has kept job numbers rising - fueled by the multi-specialist site’s reputation for attracting the most, best candidates.

At the same time, job-seekers appreciate the fact that the site is
completely focused on their needs. Features include a powerful front-page
job search across 30 career sectors, job alerts by SMS as well as e-mail, career management tools and a complete ban on annoying pop-up ads.

The lucky recruiter who places the 200,000th job on reed.co.uk will win their pick of any one or two-day non-residential course from sister company Reed Training, worth up to 800.

The winner will be able to choose between more than 170 finance, management, sales and recruitment courses, from Effective Delegation to Liberating Leadership. Courses are run from a range of venues from Reed Training’s newly refurbished headquarters in Holborn, Central London to their regional centres in Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh.
