Bob runs for Cancer Research Fund

Group HR Director at BUPA London Bob Watson will be pounding the streets from Newcastle to South Shields in aid of raising money for the Cancer Research Fund when he completes the 2004 BUPA Great North Run.

On September 26, Bob alongside his daughter and niece will be running in aid of raising money for the Cancer Research Fund and he is looking forward to the challenge of completing the run this year.

Completing road runs and going to the gym twice a week has been Bob’s preparation for the 13.1-mile stretch of the run. Bob has been inspired by some of his work colleagues to complete the BUPA Great North Run.

I was inspired to take part by a former colleague Uwe Natho who ran in the London Marathon, says Bob. I was also inspired by BUPA’s Managing Director for UK Membership Fergus Kee who completed the Great North Run last year.

Bob will run alongside 47 000 others when he completes the challenge of the 2004 BUPA Great North Run
